Intensive, intentional, and individual start the description of our Equine Assisted Learning Program. We have 5 phases and each phase plays a critical role for the next. Phase 2 is where the Eagala EAP model is specifically applied. It is during these sessions we have our Certified Eagala Mental Health professionals present in the arena. This is where the breakthroughs start to happen. In this quiet space surrounded by horses.
Sponsorships are vital!! This allows our Warriors to take a slow journey with incredible resources that has a higher rate of long term success.
$4100.00 - 50 week - 1 Warrior - includes EMDR trauma therapy
This is an amazing space to be in. We are guided by a softly spoken meditation, followed by submerging ourselves amongst the horses. Blending quietly into the herd. Observing their movement, their stillness, allowing ourselves to “just be”
Yoga on the farm provides a place to stretch your body and relax your mind all in the presences of God’s amazing creations. Yoga is an ABSOLUTE necessity for our Warrior program. It is during these open space sessions, they will start the mental integration process of the civilian world. We open it up for guests to be part of this and an opportunity for them to give back with a monetary donation.
We strongly promote yoga as an essential part of Little Blessings program. We know it works the mind and body at the same time. This is why we offer it in both indoors and outdoors. We want our Warriors to have a selection to it can meet their schedules.
Our goal is to provide EVERY Warrior in our program a massage once a month. We have been blessed in the past by Massage Therapist volunteering their time. We know factually our Hero's have both external and internal injuries. Many live on pain medication - and HATE it. We want to play a part in helping our Warriors reduce the amount of pills they take.
In a recent study conducted by the Military Medicine Journal, researchers examined the effectiveness of Reiki, labeling it as “Healing Touch.” Researchers observed a drop in PTSD symptoms for the intervention group by 14 points (from 54.7 to 40.7) using the PTSD checklist, which is considered to be clinically, as well as statistically, significant.
Dirt Therapy allows our Warriors another space to just be, have a purpose and work with our volenteers , all while the civilian integration piece is occurring. This is one of the veterans favorite spots to be!
Once a month we welcome any and all currently serving military members with their families and all Veterans and their families to come together. This has been probably the most important component to our progarm. Veterans in isolation have realized they are not in this alone. Spouses have met someone else who understands the daily struggles and the kids get to connect too - All while creating community and new memories.
Our space is open to all who want to connect on a spiritual level. We host small groups and we have a once a month gathering. Our monthly topics cover realistic issues like, “Battling Conflict”. These 1 hour gathering are presented by Jeff Cobb, a fellow Veteran who would minister to us on deployments.
Warriors love to give. Giving back to the community is built into our program. In Phase 5 of EAL, Veterans have to give back a minimum of 5 hours to Little Blessings and 5 hours to one of our community partners like Habitat . Civilian integration at it’s finest!
Our community partnerships are very important to us. We love to building community with YOU. We want YOU to get engaged. Sponsor or host one of our monthly gatherings. Become part of our family! Thank you from all of US!
